Romjai Ephesus

Weathered columns, broken stonework, and a dark arched passage stand among the archaeological remains of ancient Ephesus in Turkey. The hillside setting and surviving masonry evoke the city where the apostle Paul taught, where the gospel confronted the commerce of Artemis worship, and where an early Christian congregation later received the message addressed “to the church in Ephesus.”

These ruins carry strong biblical significance for teaching on the spread of the gospel in Asia Minor, the courage of the early church, and the enduring call of Christ to faithful love and witness.
