Leírás
A single apple with a stem and two veined leaves is presented as a stark emblem of the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Its polished surface and isolated form draw attention to the moment of choice in Eden, where Adam and Eve were commanded not to eat from the forbidden tree. Though Genesis names the fruit simply as “fruit,” the apple has become a widely recognized Christian symbol of temptation, disobedience, and the entrance of sin into the human story. This artwork is suited for teaching on Genesis 3, the Fall, moral discernment, original sin, and the need for redemption.
